Skulduggery Pleasant; Bedlam

<this review contains spoilers> This book was another amazing addition to an incredible series by my favourite author. I really liked the fact that even though nine times out of ten in Derek Landy's books things don't go quite to plan, this time when Valkyrie's sister needed the fragments of her soul returned to her in order to feel the full spectrum of emotions, it worked. against all odds and probabilities, Alice got her soul restored. As always there was a completely unforeseen twist at the end of the book that was unexpected and really good. Derek Landy is my favourite author because his characters feel really truly alive. Their emotions, humour and personalities are so human and realistic, even when their situations and they themselves are so far from human. Abyssinia is such a good villain because even though she is a killer, you can still see a human, caring side to her. With weaknesses and fears and insecurities. The way Derek Landy writes creates such a believable world, that he is and will continue to be my favourite author.

This book was incredibly well written, i don't have a single complaint to make about it, i rate it 10/10.
